by MTRT on March 30, 2016

Presenting & Public Speaking

In music therapy land in the United States, spring is the season for regional music therapy conferences. This year, music therapy students, interns, and professionals are headed to Boise, ID, Harrisonburg, PA, Macon, GA, Austin TX, Indianapolis IN, St. Louis MO, and Falmouth MA to learn, network, and leave feeling recharged and inspired in their work. Many of these students and professionals will also be presenting.

In that spirit, we delve into the idea of presentation preparation. In this episode 76 of the Music Therapy Round Table podcast, you’ll learn our strategies for preparing to deliver a killer presentation, will hear ideas we have gathered from presenters we admire, and will discover ways we try to combat pre-presentation nerves.
